This is the 2nd album of my Corona Tapes.

December 2019 saw the outbreak of a new disease called Covid-19 spreading from a livestock market in Wuhan, China. The Corona virus SARS-CoV-2 caused a pandemic killing tens of thousand people around the globe. On 30 January 2020, SARS-CoV-2 was designated a Public Health Emergency of International Concern by the WHO and on 11 March 2020 the WHO declared it a pandemic. In March 2020 the virus started to change my life. For the first time I experienced short-time working and fear of losing the job. Public life changed dramatically: Germany was totally locked down. We were only allowed to go to work and buy food. No more sport, cultural activities, social life. A life under curfew... The reflections of March 2020 are in the album #ALLEFÜR ALLE.

DIE STILLE DER STADT (The Silence of the City) was entirely played and recorded in April 2020. We saw the many negative and positive aspects of the lockdown. We were forced to react to the situation, we did not have any influence of what was happening. We felt lonely as we could not meet family members and friends in the usual way. On the other side there was the dynamic increase of illness and death. We had to realize, that our life before the pandemic would not come back. A lot of people lost family members, friends, their job, their own company. Even more people werde afraid about the future. But April was also the month of Easter. We experienced homechurching, we enjoyed the most beautiful spring whether you can imagine. Life was slow and calm, espeacially in the cities. The end of April was dramatic, as we had to face a severe illness of one of our beloved family members.
