16th of July, 2019 - The Bielefeld Observatory (Volkssternwarte Bielefeld-Ubbedissen) was sold out for a "Long Night of the Moon" to celebrate the anniversary of Apollo 11. Exactly 50 years after the huge Saturn V rocket was launched from Cape Canaveral to bring the astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin and Michael Collins to the moon and back, this event was one of the few in Germany to mix related scientific edutainment and electronic music. Björn Kähler talked about the history of space exploration and explained all details of the Apollo 11 mission. Globotom played songs from his album "Over The Moon" and other ambient tracks. This album was published exactly 50 years after Apollo 11 returned safely back to earth.
